Where's the icon?

Droid Comic Viewer is called ACV on the application launcher. It should be one of the first icons.

The leading Android comic viewer was originally called... well... Android Comic Viewer. Eventually we realized that Google politely asked not to use "Android" in your app name, so we changed it to Droid Comic Viewer.

Since most users were already used to the ACV acronym, we kept it for the icon and the file extension of our comics.

Recently we realized that this causes some confusion among our newest users. Do you thing that we should change the icon name?

I personally like that ACV is one of the first apps in my application launcher.

Yeah, I think it's confusing. Here's what I think you should do:

Add an option (if possible) to change the icon name between DCV and ACV

When the next update rolls out, everyone who gets updated gets their variable set to ACV.

Then new installs get the default setting set as DCV(if you can't tell the difference, then just make it the next version down the line and assume everyone updated to each version).

Everyone who knows it as ACV doesn't get their icon moved on them, and everyone who's never heard of Android Comic Viewer gets an icon that makes sense.

As far as I know it's not possible to dynamically change the name of an app. :(
