One of the great things about ACV is the user's ability to costumize just about every aspect of our viewing experience.
However, I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread listing suggestions from ACV's users specifically pertaining additional options in the Settings menu, to further optimize our comic viewing.
During my frequent usage of ACV I have come up with some suggestions, to further give the user freedom: --Control - More "corner tap" buttons (as of now there are only four), how about right/left hand side buttons and/or centre bottom/top buttons? - Maybe a smaller size for the corner tap buttons? - Support for a device's camera button (if available) as an assignable button? - More actions for corner tap buttons: * "Bookmark this page" * "Load a bookmark" * Increase/Decrease brightness * "Open previous/next comic" --Visual - Briefly/persistently/"Do not" show File information - File information: "file name, page number/total pages" (right now ACV only shows a temporary page number) * Show/hide "File name" when File information is On * Show/hide "Page number" when File information is On - File information display location (left bottom, centre bottom, right bottom... etc) - Show/hide Android status bar - Show/hide device info (battery life, time, brightness) * Show/hide Battery Life * Show/hide Time * Show/hide Brightness - Device info location (left bottom, centre bottom, right bottom... etc) - New transition: "Page flip" --Support - "Donate"/"Buy ad-free version" will send users to the Android Market so they can support you in other ways than just recommending the app to a friend!
Whether you will consider these suggestions or not: Thank you so much for your hard work! Once I get my hands on a Motorola Xoom tablet, I already know which app will be the first one to be installed ;)
Thanks icarus. Lots of great suggestions here, but it would have been more useful for the community if you'd included only one feature request per discussion.
Yes, I understand that. However, these are a lot of suggestions and I thought it would be better to collect them into one instead of having one thread/topic per suggested feature.
Although, maybe I could have grouped them according to area (e.g. one discussion for the "Control" suggestions)... :P
Sorry about that, maybe I should create these specific discussions now and then you can erase this discussion?
