Droid Comic Viewer 1.3.11.1 now available in the Android Market

    Droid Comic Viewer 1.3.11.1 is now available in the Android Market. Version 1.3.11.1 is a minor update mainly intended to add basic tablet support to Droid Comic Viewer. Full list of changes:

    Tablet support
    Decreased likelihood of "out of memory" issues
    Advanced settings now allow to set the maximum image resolution
    Screen does not dim while using the viewer
    Report a problem from Settings > Support
    Fixed grammar mistakes in Spanish translation
    Load next/previous file now considers files with Zip and Rar extension
    Low memory mode now uses low memory transitions instead of no transitions
    Support for new ACV format features
    Fling up now shows the menu by default
    Various bug fixes and performance improvements

    Possible to include it also on the archos apps store? as my 10 inch tablet can't (and I assume this is the case for many other larger than 7 inch tablets) actually access the android marketplace.. (which still baffles me, hopefully fixed with Android 3?)

    I currently don't have wifi so I have to manually install applications at the moment. Would you mind attaching the apk file to this post so that people who don't have access to the app store can install it themselves like with the beta.

    I'ld also like to say thank you. It's a wonderful application and has brought me many hours of joy. Thank you.

    @AngelOfCake We don't want to post the apk here because the more downloads we get from the Android Market, the more discoverable the app becomes.

    I have a advent tegra (wifi only) and the memory problems occurs with the beta version. Is it possible to be able to have a copy of the new version as do not have marketplace.

    I love this app, but like many I can't acces the marketplace because my tablet can not be updated to Android 2.2
    Can anyone send me a copy?

    I can now access the android market using a advent Vega, using a mod from WWW.modaco.com. also if convert your comics from cbr to cbz they work fine. I use comic rack it converts a comic in 1 second!

    As with most people due to google having their rules about 3g access my tablet can't access marketplace.

    I've got the newest version on my phone is it possible to locate the apk file on my phone and copy it across to my tab or could you pm me the apk.
