Takes a long time to switch between pages

I was previously getting the memory errors and I read that if you extracted the files that would solve the out of memory business, now I have each comic extracted into it's own folder and do the long tap to open. I no longer get the out of memory errors, but now it takes 30 to 90 seconds, and sometimes more, to switch from page to page. It seems almost random. Within the same comic some pages load instantly, others take over a minute. From what I can tell these are just standard 25-30 page comics. They are jpegs between 200-600 kb each picture. I have a motorola milestone running 2.1

While the number of images and total file size of comic don't influence loading times, the size, resolution and compression of individual images do.
However, 90 seconds is a lot of time, specially for the Motorola Milestone. Can you upload one of images to http://imageshack.us/ and send us the link? The worst one, if possible. We'll perform some tests and see if we can optimize something to make it load faster.
And out of curiosity, did images load faster when you were reading them from an archive file? That is very weird. -
When reading from an archive file, I would always get the out of memory error. My laptop died the other day, so I am using my phone to do everything. I had to jump through a few hoops but I think I uploaded a pic http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/7969/urlyc.jpg. this one took forever (about a minute) to load, but most do. In a 30 page issue I can maybe hit next page twice and not have to wait. Every other time is, like I said, at least 30 seconds. Really, I would love any help because I really like this app, just wish I could get it working! Thanks!

Just for a laugh I decided to uninstall/reinstall to see if that did anything. Same issues. I don't know what else to try really.

Sorry, but also, I opened up a cbr file to see what would happen. It loaded 5 pages at a normal reading pace. (A second or less after I hit next page) then got the out of memory error.
