Galaxy Tab support?
  • 443-1443-1 October 2010
Just got my hands on a Galaxy tab recently, and discovered that the tablet didn't display the application in its full screen glory. Samsungs tablet seems to be running a slightly modified Galaxy S version of Froyo. Will there be any support for seven inch devices in the near future?

    Yes, coming very soon!

I love the idea of using my gentouch's 7" screen also. Do you know when we will see the Droid viewer support these large screens?

Downloaded the Droid ACV comic viewer off Archos appslib site for the 10 inch Advent vega, works well, but sadly as above, displays in a small part of the screen. Hopefully there will be support for 10 inch screens as well?

that's weird. I'm using it on my Archos 101, and it displays fine

found spare parts, and if you use it to turn off compatibility mode, you get full screen!

Hey, I'm also a samsung galaxy tab owner, thanx to the developer for responding and working on having the app fit the entire screen. much love and respect

thanks for the note about Spare parts.. I can find the app but getting it to install on my advent vega is proving tricky at the moment - is there a link to spare parts that works on an Advent Vega? Using a barcode scanner.. just basically goes around in circles

If I can't access spare parts.. is there any other app that can access the compatibility mode and turn it off?

Just reading the Android SDK .. be great if the supports-screens was set to resizable ? in Droid - perhaps that brings other issues? no idea about that.

This will be fixed in the next version. Beta will be available next week.

So does Droid comic viewer work with the Galaxy now (in full screen)?
